Bounties đź’¸ vs Health đź’Š
Hey,
Congrats to everyone for surviving the covid-19 pandemic.
This is my second write-up and I hope this will be of a great help to everyone. and Sorry for my poor English, can’t do anything about it now :( .
So far we have been seeing so many guys posting there Bounties $$$$ and Achievement through out the Internet( Twitter, LinkedIn ) and at some point it made us insecure and Vulnerable. After seeing the tweet we become desperate, because the other guy just copy pasted stuff or used admin:password to get a P1 and was paid in $$$$$. While we were also working hard to score a bounty but ended with nothing/duplicate/N/A or $50.

So after seeing the Bounty post we stopped doing the work we were doing and began the hunt. Later at that night we skipped our meal and continued the hunt until it was morning or we were fully exhausted and went for the sleep.
we woke up with a fresh mind but suddenly the Fear of missing out came back as we were not the one posting Yay, I was awarded a $$$$ bounty on XYZ.com and how if we were the one getting that bounty could have helped us and our family.
“In as much as you have done to the least of these,
you have done for me.”
We again start the hunt with a disturbed mind hoping of getting a bounty soon. we start running all the tools we have in our System, even the tools we haven’t used for the last 1 or 2 months but at the end we end up with a same situation as the previous day ended, now there is darkness in my mind, am I a good hunter or is my IQ so low that I am not even able to find a P4, Luck is so unfair to me, should I stop doing bug hunting, will I ever get a P1, will my lifestyle improve and most important will I be able to help my family?
but some how we keep on hunting and end up with some $$$$ and become happy with a lot of positivity in our mind.
The thing here is that we sat inside our home for a month to get that $$$$ and we start repeating the same step from above as the greed for a better bounty never ends. we’ve been inside our house for years now specially after covid-19.
we have done so much thing in the last few years but we have forgotten one lethal thing i.e. Health.
some of you might be genetically strong or because of our diet but it will just buy us some more time before a Disease or Disorder hits you.
Suddenly you may fall sick and yes of course you will get better with meds but again after some months you might get sick and this will continue now forever, the thing you did not paid attention was your Health during all these long hours hunt. you got the $$$$ started eating what ever you like (Junk foods + Restaurants foods ), you traveled and ate anything you liked, made new friends. you changed your sleeping habit and at worst case you were sleeping during the day time mostly, ignoring the deep sleep time. The last time you played soccer or cricket was years ago as you are now enjoying the PS5. you might have accumulated fat and got rewarded with a soft body with low stamina and weak immune system.
This happened in my case too, after the first lock down I never went out to play or do any exercise, been inside my house for months in my chair, did not saw sun for weeks and yes never did a single exercise, all I did was
eat < hunt < game < sleep
and during this time I felt sick several times but got cured using meds but recently was hit by a disorder that took away all my freedom and was in bed for last 2 months without able to hunt or watch shows or movies as my mind was always bitter because of the disorder and frequent pain.
Tried many meds but it did not completely cured me(temporarily I was fine ) so at last I turned towards our ancient Ayurveda and it really worked and I am almost back to normal, for last 20 days I have been taking Ayurvedic meds and 3–4 days ago I came back to the Security world again, starting it a little by little, will soon make full recovery but what I learned during this series of event, I wanted everyone to read so at least they can be ready for this or not repeat what I did thus saving others from a lot of troubles.
So please if you can afford go to the Gym, Run in the morning or Afternoon, play some outdoor games if you get to, eat a proper diet and healthy stuff remember more bounties = more healthy food and not outside food, and please do Try Yoga it might bring a lot of changes to your life.
Now, will you go desperate about Bounties or keep the life in balance first and then get those $$$$. and there are some people doing Hacking for fun and knowledge but they can also fall under this situation so better look out for it. Bounties will come and go as we learn more and more, the world is very big but once your body is damaged those $$$$ won’t help in many cases.
Writing this was tough as most of these are the things I’ve felt personally and my daily life but I wanted to write this because this might help a lot of new Guys and will be a little better then How to get Started in Bug Bounties.
